HMS Roebuck was a 44-gun frigate launched in 1774 and converted to a hospital ship in 1790. In 1799 she was converted to a troopship, and four years later to a guard ship. She was broken up in 1811.
March and April 1794, operations at the Islands of Martinique, St. Lucia, and Guadaloupe. 6 Jul 1797 captured the Dutch privateer Le Batave, 12 guns, 54 men, off Barbadoes. 19 Feb 1798 captured the French privateer Parfaite. 13 Aug-Oct 1799 employed on expedition to Holland. 1 - 2 May 1800 prize money resulting from the operations at the Islands of Martinique, St. Lucia, and Guadaloupe due for payment. 8 Mar to 2 Sep 1801 Services off the coast of Egypt. 17 Nov-30 Dec 1802 prize money resulting from the expedition to Holland due for payment.
